Right of withdrawal (Widerrufsrecht)

Consumers have the right to withdraw from this contract within fourteen days without giving any reason.

In the case of a contract of sale for goods, the withdrawal period is fourteen days from the day on which the consumer, or a third party named by the consumer who is not the carrier, took possession of the goods.

In the case of a contract for the supply of digital content that is not supplied on a tangible medium, the withdrawal period is fourteen days from the day on which the contract is concluded.

In order to exercise the right of withdrawal, the consumer must inform us

of the decision to withdraw from this contract by means of an unequivocal statement (e.g. a letter sent by post or an email). For this purpose, the consumer may use the attached model withdrawal form, although its use is not mandatory.

In order to meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for the consumer to send the communication concerning the exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.

Consequences of withdrawal

If the consumer withdraws from this contract, we shall reimburse to the consumer all payments received from the consumer, including the costs of delivery (with the exception of the supplementary costs resulting from the consumer's choice of a type of delivery other than the least expensive type of standard delivery offered by us), without undue delay and in any event not later than fourteen days from the day on which we are informed of the consumer's decision to withdraw from this contract.

We shall carry out such reimbursement using the same means of payment as the consumer used for the initial transaction, unless the consumer has expressly agreed otherwise; in no event will the consumer incur any fees as a result of such reimbursement.

For contracts concerning goods, we may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back or until the consumer has supplied evidence of having sent back the goods, whichever is the earliest.

The consumer shall send back the goods or hand them over to us without undue delay and in any event not later than fourteen days from the day on which the consumer informs us of the withdrawal from this contract. The deadline is met if the consumer dispatches the goods before the period of fourteen days has expired.

The consumer shall bear the direct costs of returning the goods.

The consumer is only liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from the handling of the goods other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.

Exclusion or premature expiry of the right of withdrawal

The right of withdrawal does not exist, unless the parties have agreed otherwise, in particular for contracts for the supply of goods that are not prefabricated and for the production of which an individual selection or determination by the consumer is decisive, or which are clearly tailored to the personal needs of the consumer.

This may apply in particular to individually configured Pre-built products or Pre-built products manufactured according to customer specifications.

In the case of a contract for the supply of digital content not on a tangible medium, the right of withdrawal expires prematurely if we have begun performance of the contract after the consumer has

– expressly consented to our beginning performance of the contract before the expiry of the withdrawal period,
– confirmed their awareness that, by giving such consent, they lose their right of withdrawal upon commencement of performance of the contract, and
– we have provided the consumer with a confirmation of the contract on a durable medium.
