Team Pilots

  • Nils

    Freestyle

    Nils

    @nils_vo

    German freestyle pilot first, software engineer second. He built The Zone because he knows exactly how a quad has to feel in the air, which is hard to nail without flying yourself. The physics, the latency, the response on the sticks. The main map is a recreation of his home spot, so pilots train where Nils trained. He also runs a review channel that tests goggle latency with tools he built himself, and the numbers tend to settle arguments.

  • Basil

    FREESTYLE / CINEMATIC

    Basil

    @basil_fpv

    Berlin-based freestyle pilot whose thing is the mid-air explanation. While he flies he talks the viewer through what he's doing: the why behind the line, when to throttle up, where the trick is about to break down. The flying itself is solid Berlin urban freestyle. The explanations turn every clip into a lesson, but he never sounds like he's teaching one. New pilots come for the explanations. Experienced pilots stay for the flying.

  • Jonathan

    FREESTYLE

    Jonathan

    @scarce_fpv

    His own channel tagline is "Send. Crash. Fix. Repeat." That's the whole pitch. Berlin-based, fast, aggressive, no conservative lines and no posed shots. Just sending it into bandos until something breaks, fixing it, going again. The output is the kind of freestyle that only happens when the pilot has decided ahead of time that the crash is fine. Footage nobody else has, mostly because nobody else was willing to crash that many times to get it.

  • Vlad

    FREESTYLE / CINEMATIC

    Vlad

    @vladyslav_starozhylov

    Vladyslav Starozhylov. Ukrainian pilot, now based in Spain after Poland and Canada. Smooth 5-inch freestyle and builds that actually work. Started flying in 2019, became a test pilot for Ukraine's GRL frames, and now shows some of the clearest build guides on YouTube. The kind beginners watch to get their first build off the bench, and the kind seasoned pilots watch for the details. His channel bio reads "Not for clicks. For the craft." He means it.

  • Franz

    FREESTYLE / CINEMATIC

    Franz

    @eqfranz

    Franz, known as eqfranz, is a German FPV pilot and film student with a foot in both worlds, cinematic FPV for set-ready work, and freestyle as the training that gets him there. What stood out to us is the way he flies: he scouts a spot, picks a line, and stays on it until it lands the way he saw it. Burned motors, broken receivers, smoking chargers, doesn't matter, he goes again. Explore, plan, execute. No random ripping, every flight has a target. Welcome to the team, Franz.
